Full house

It was our turn to host BWW's again and we almost had a full complement. Katrina has been working for the last three days so her mum is looking after Stanley, but everyone else is here -and all at the same time! This time I didn't bother with chairs and just had the beanbag and a few cushions so we could get down with the kids (literally!)

Anna and Mateus showed up first, following by Emily and Oscar. Emily bought me flowers! Just because I've had a bad week, and she felt guilty for leaving me after the prang with the car (which she really shouldn't do). It was very sweet and the flowers are gorgeous. Finally, Kelly and Dylan came followed by Anna and Eva. All the babies seemed to be in sync, falling asleep, feeding or getting 'shouty' at around the same times.

The alphabet mat has also paid for itself 10 times over due to it's 'wipe clean' nature as some of the boys are a bit sicky after their feeds. Everyone is so much more relaxed when you're not worrying about staining furniture or getting puke on the carpet! Oh the things we worry about nowadays!

The Connecta finally arrived this morning too, but without the sunhat. It's funny given that was a goodwill gesture for the carrier being late. I had practiced putting Charlie in it but the straps are still quite stiff so don't tighten very easily. Emily spotted me and said I was doing everything right, it just needed 'breaking in' which is a relief. The print is lovely and Robin has said he'd be happy to wear it (which was half the reason I bought it). Hopefully there'll be an action shot soon!
