Gimme Shelter

The is the bridge over one of the feeder streams to Edgbaston reservoir and represents pretty much the farthest point from the office when I walk this route. Typically, this was the point at which a truly biblical downpour struck. Even with the 'big coat' and hat I was quickly drenched. Deliberate use of fill flash here to light up under the leaves and pick out the rain drops/stair rods. The sharp eyed amongst you should be able to pick out the new library, the Hyatt and the Cube on the Birmingham skyline.
