Polish Fest

Milwaukee is very well known for all of it's summer festivals, & people come from all over the midwest & beyond to attend them! The first one starts today-- Polish fest--& there will be one after another throughout the summer ..... Summerfest, Irish fest, Festa Italiana, Summer Soulstice music festival, Germanfest, Pridefest, Indian Summer....& I've probably missed a few! They all have entertainment, food, dance performances, cultural exhibits, a marketplace, etc., & it all takes place at festival park which is right along Lake Michigan, so is a beautiful setting! My husband & I went today after I got off of work, & the pic is from the cultural exhibit that featured a selection of Polish costumes that were really beautiful! Polish festival ends each night with "The Big Boomski" (fireworks), which is spectacular!
