Autumn trees

Was expecting a storm today but although it was wet I managed not to be out when it was at its worst. Although there were lots of leaves on the ground and in the puddles, there were still many on the trees around the Meadows.
Walked over to near Haymarket to visit the music school and find out more about it. Interesting tour and session with the Head, but ended up being there longer than I’d expected and so had to walk fast to get home in time to talk to LF. Just finished that in time to have some lunch then prep for a review/selection meeting that worked better than the previous versions I’ve been part of. There wasn’t much debate really as we were supportive of virtually all of them.
Chatted to T, A and HW afterwards (separately) as I made supper and ate it. Definitely feel more awake and back to normal today….
Settling down to an evening of knitting, watching Portrait Artist of the Year and whatever else there is.
