Storm Ciaran
Took me an hour to get to work (normally only half an hour) due to trees down and flooding.
The yacht is still upright, although I noticed they have put a few ropes attached to the mast to give it more support.
We have a satellite hatchery in Newlyn, in 2 shipping containers, the wind and waves were so strong the far container has been pushed off it's blocks, causing the plumbed in pipes and electrics to disconnect. The staff down there are pretty new to the job so Ben, my line manager, went down to bring the 22 mother lobsters in there back to Padstow. The place will need a crane and electrician before it's working again.
There were big waves to watch out to sea and a rainbow over Rock.
I decided this morning the dogs were safer being left at home rather than coming to the hatchery with me. I kept an eye on them over my petcam and they spent most of their time sleeping on the sofa, until just before I got home. Looks like one of them found a packet of poo bags and they decided to play with them. Lol
Hopefully back to normal tomorrow
