Church Lych Gate

Voluntarily housebound by this mornings weather, I managed a walk in weak sunshine mid afternoon. Eventually decided on this image with a Maple tree behind the Lych gate, rather than a rotten Oak which had fallen across the river in the last 24 hours, or a blip of the fast flowing river in flood mode.The river level was very high in places, and a number of mature trees were brought down by the storm. Luckily no occupied dwellings seem to have been affected.
