Master Ben

This morning, our wonderful son-in-law graduated with a Masters in Architecture. What a long slog it’s been and we are simply delighted for him.

MightyMouse and I met up with him and HatBox and his parents and Elbows for afternoon tea in a beautiful choice location (!) (where these 2 enjoyed their chess too) and then went onto to a restaurant called Sixes where almost everyone else from the family joined us. It was a joy to be there to celebrate with him.

The morning hadn’t started so well. I drove an hour in ridiculous traffic to do a lake swim and they closed it as I arrived so then drove back and had to put up with a short run in torrential rain. Got soaked.
