Wet Walk

Today was a walk with the Farleigh gang.   They say there is never the wrong weather, just the wrong clothes and today, that was very true!  We mostly stayed dry but I was glad I had taken extra trousers as my legs were very wet. J was soaked through and now they are back in the UK rather than overseas, she probably needs to invest in some wet weather gear.  The walk was lovely and I got the giggles when the rain and hail was blowing sideways.  However we made it to the pub and the food was wonderful.  I had the best fish and chips that I have eaten in a long while.  We all remarked that it would be lovely to have such a good pub/restaurant in our village.

Home to read a missed message from No.1 who was not feeling great and was worried about some symptoms.  I felt bad that I had missed her call and we chatted and I was pleased to hear that No.2 had driven over to see her with soup and kept her company during the afternoon.

No words - I just want her to be better and this to be over.
