This month's Hort. Society mini-flower show was right over the top for the number, variety and quality of its entries. Amongst my favourites was the Mr Lincoln rose, the pale pink Kalmia, and the white peony, the latter being a complete novelty for me. The extra shows about a quarter of the whole display - quite amazing.
