The Gallery in SOC Waterston House in Aberlady often has exhibitions on art relating to nature and at the moment some of Helen Denerley’s sculptures are on display. Her unique sculptures are made using scrap metal such as old tools, bits of agricultural machinery, parts of cars and bikes.  Her work includes tiny delicate insects, birds and huge animals including the Dreaming Spires Giraffe in Edinburgh and many commissions for public art including some abroad.  This little blackbird was among some of her exhibits and seemed an ideal blip for Bobsblips “metal” challenge today.
