Autumn in the Forest of Dean
Gloucestershire is a beautiful county, gateway to the Cotswolds is the city of Gloucester itself.
On the other side of the wide and mighty River Severn is the Forest of Dean.
Our son, Daniel, and I drove to our daughter Johanna's new house to deliver some stuff that we'd been storing for her. We arrived in Cinderford unloaded, went on to her old place to pick up other stuff and boxes, unloaded them and then on to Coleford to pick up something Marlane had bought on Marketplace.
Back to Gloucester to deliver the thing we'd picked up in Coleford, loaded more boxes, and back to Cinderford.
Considering it takes about 40 minutes to drive from Gloucester to Cinderford you can imagine this was all taking some time. Plus, when unloading the boxes etc. twice we had torrential rain showers, including hailstones.
Anyway, it was a job well done and Johannah was very pleased with the help we gave her.
The photograph is from the bit when we drove from Coleford back to Gloucester, just a phone shot through the windscreen of Daniels car (a Ford S-Max, which is why we used his car), I was a passenger so no laws were broken in the making of this Blip.
