She soars

So I did take a much more artsy photo for today - an interesting angle on a building that makes it look like steps ascending to heaven - but then as we were rounding the building a kestrel flew straight past us. And then I managed to get this photo instead and the other one could only ever play second fiddle.

These birds are so incredible, the way they hover and keep their heads absolutely still. I hope this friend had successful hunting.
