Welly Walk!

A brilliant day out with next to no rain, just one shower to report, what a joy!!

Mum and I parked near Bolton Abbey train station and set off on a beautiful walk. We made our way to the abbey itself before meandering along the path by the river following the Welly Walk trail. I love a good trail as you all know only too well now. My photos show various activities along the trail. Great fun!

After reaching the end of the trail we continued Barden Bridge where we then turned back to follow the path along the other side of the river. We saw the various displays on the Pumpkin Trail as we made our way back to The Cavendish Pavilion, before continuing onwards to the car.

A brilliant walk with gorgeous autumnal colours, what a treat! :-)
