Chocolate milk

The Water of Leith is pretty high and a chocolatey brown today. Hardly surprising after all the rain of the last few days.

Took the herd of girls to school this morning, then had a coffee break when my folks popped round, ran out at lunch for a quick appointment with the nurses, and then had back to back meetings in the afternoon. Now have just baked a cake that might (hopefully) be cool enough to ice and serve for book group in less than an hour. If we can tidy the house up first.
