We pass this lovely old farmhouse on one of our walks.    The changing colours of the leaves and the red berries complement the old brick wall and those fabulous tall chimneys.
Not really visible on the picture, but on the lane is a thick layer of top soil, and recently sown seeds I expect, that have run off the fields during the recent heavy rains.   With much more rain to come over the next 48 hours that's forecast.
