Love the winter hat

I knitted this for my friends grandchild, not born yet. I liked the pattern but the knitting has a few tension issues and I failed to check the pattern size properly so it ended up about the size for a toddler. Never mind I shall knit something else for a new born as I have plenty of wool left.

Spent the day travelling to Glasgow and back again in horrible weather. This time for hubby's hospital assessment. All went well and he had his plaster off his hand while entertaining all of the waiting room with his shrieking! Leg re x-rayed and they have now decided it is not broken just severe muscle damage so he will need to start using it more. All good news I think.
