Bus Pass Walk

Used the bus to transport 2 of us to St Ives gate to start our walk.  A bit of chaos as a roadworks lorry was trying to turn into the gateway, the bus was holding the traffic up to let us get off and then we had to avoid the reversing lorry and cross the road - thankfully a happy chappy directing traffic stopped everything to let us cross. Walked down to Beckfoot where the ford was very high and water was rushing under the bridge. Large puddles everywhere.  Cut our route short and went into Myrtle Park.  The trees are turning nicely now, so a collage of some of the colours.  Refreshments taken at The Loft and then a bus home.  Weather not as bad as predicted, so good to get out.
