Rainbows over Blencathra

Firstly, thanks to so many of you, who left messages on yesterdays blip following the sudden death of our cat, Tatty. She loved attention, and reaching the spotlight page was a fitting tribute. Mike returned from a week-long residency with his school today to learn the news, and after a few tears, we buried her in her favourite spot in the garden.

Today saw the end of the PhotoShop workshop, and the departure of our guests, including blippers:

I had a physio session at Carlisle and ended up with another Steroid injection in my shoulder. Then picked up some new specs (blip soon!) and spent the rest of the day trying to get ready for Iceland.

Still just found time to take this rainbow over the front of Skiddaw and framing Blencathra in the distance.

Tomorrow, I'm taking Emma to an open day at Leicester University, and Sunday morning fly out to Iceland for our Icelandic workshop.

WiFi is particularly sketchy in Iceland, so I may have to do a few backblipps.
