Home again!
A gorgeously sunny day today, though with a chilly wind. The forecast ahead isn't great - rain tomorrow unfortunately.
I set off on foot this morning to Atlantis Leisure, for what I suppose will be my regular Tuesday morning 'Strength & Balance' class as part of 'Healthy Options'. Passing the McCaig's Tower car park I spotted my old feline friend, Misha, the friendly cat who used to spend most of his time up at the Tower, chatting to visitors, popping to his nearby home only at feeding time.
The story goes that back in January 2020 an Aberdeen couple spotted the cat at McCaig's Tower over the course of a few days and assuming that he was a stray, took him home. After a while they passed him on to another Aberdeen couple and he travelled about over the country with his 'new owners' for 17 months until, when hoping to take him abroad, they took him to the vet to be microchipped. It was then discovered that he was already chipped and so discovered his real owners. They travelled to Aberdeen to collect him and so now he's happily back in his familiar location. He now wears a collar - a satnav collar maybe - and he's still as friendly as ever and we had a lovely cuddle!
Mrs M and I went to Dunollie after lunch and I gave a hand for a while in the old family Walled Garden. 'Green Shoots' has been given permission to use it as a replacement for the Glencruitten Walled Garden, but there's lot to do to bring it up to a usable state.
