This is Halloween

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

NO IT ISN'T HALLOWEEN.

It was sunny and beautiful and warm today. The first really summery day we've had in Paraparaumu since our Autumn back in May.

Jasper could not handle it and went to sleep in the shade.

But it did not lend itself to an eldritch, brooding, ominous atmosphere is what I am saying.

I watched Kat watching "Krampus" at night to try and counteract the summery fun. "Krampus" is about a festive demon who ruins Xmas. 

It's not Xmas either.

Bah humbug.
