Preparing to weight train again…

Hello Everyone,

I did a little ride on my new to me winter bike today. The circuit I did was just over 19 miles, the bike was all okay, I may make one tweak to the saddle.

I popped down to the workshop this afternoon but did not achieve much to be truthful. The good news is the sawdust burner is now working again. 

Once home I decided to have a little ride on the Giant Halfway bike. I have not ridden a fixed wheel on the road and want to start so thought I would see how I got on. I was okay but lacked some confidence, the Halfway was perfect for testing how I coped. So, the plan is I will take the bike somewhere busy and just chug around the traffic and build my confidence.

I plan to start weight training again. I made the pole thingy from the crutches. The thought is to hold the bar like you do when squatting and then squat down to the box… Once I can do that without any problem, I then turn the box so that it is lower. I am doing this a few times a day now and hope to start the weight training after I come back from Belgium towards the end of the month.
