Taylor Jr's traveller's cheques arrive today.

More memories bubbling up. He's off on Thursday. KLM to Bangkok via Amsterdam (oops, better give him those euros out of my wallet). A couple of nights in the capital, and then off to the northeast.

I can tell he's getting excited. Hasn't seen his grandparents, aunts & uncles, cousins etc for 4 years.

Latest plan seems to be that they'll borrow his uncle's car for a day out in Cambodia (only 45 minutes drive away) with Jr doing the driving... watch out for buffalo on the road, and the occasional elephant.
