The nights are drawing in

Awake at my normal time of 5.30 am, which is now 4.30 am. Hopefully, I can re-adjust in a day or two. Norah joined me an hour later and gave her mum and dad a chance to get a lie-in. They headed home mid-morning.
We decided to go into town. It was tipping down, so we drove to the gyle and caught the tram - less walking in the rain between bus stops that way. We made a start on our Christmas shopping and found a nice wooden toy garage for Norah - she loves playing with cars. Also, got some festive pvc material to cover our new dining table when the children are visiting.
Lazy afternoon watching old films while Dennis watched football.
