Peace campaigners

Our local annual Scarecrow Competition is in full swing. It is quite a challenge to create  a "tableau" which is downpour- resistant, and won't have dissolved before the judges make their tour of  inspection of the neighbourhood.  
I liked the sentiments expressed by these two drenched, but still smiling, characters. 
Incidentally , if you  look carefully, you maybe able to see the tiny Robins  perched on the scarecrows' hands!
