Ready For Halloween #2

I had my cataract operation this morning, with the added bonus that I won’t need to dress up for Halloween- I’ve got my mask already.

Once again it was incredibly efficient: I arrived at 8.15, had all my pre-op checks and eyedrops (anaesthetics, pupil dilators, eye-whiteners, anti-inflammatories), on the operating table just after 9 and all done and ready to go home by 9.45. All the staff were wonderfully kind, caring and efficient.

Anyway, I thought I’d inflict a rare selfie on you for today’s mono challenge; after all, I had a CATaract removed, my eye feels a bit BATtered and I’m wearing a HAT to keep the sun out of my eyes on a brief stroll for some fresh air this afternoon.
