I had to wait a little longer than usual at Schöneberg station. The disused tracks are of the Stammbahn which was Prussia's first railway line. It connected central Berlin with Potsdam and was opened in 1838. After 1945 it became mostly defunct. The last bits closed in 1980. There are now plans to revive it. Planning is underway and the 200th anniversary is being talked about. We shall see and I shall watch this space...

Otherwise, uneventful day. Need to pick up #2 from the railway station later on.
