High tide and stormy seas

This evening I went down to the dunes above the beach at high tide. During high tide, it is not possible (or safe) to access the beach and the recent stormy weather has taken its toll on the coastline.
You can see the waves breaking over the old concrete 'blockhaus' structures which are part of the old Atlantic Wall. 
It was certainly bracing down there!
