Rain stops play

Travelled all the way to Liverpool today to a tennis tournament, being held opposite Echo's home. Had lunch with her and then went over to the venue with the free tickets she'd kindly given to us. We had good seats up in the centre of the Stand, settled ourselves in for the afternoon, Mr Echo and grandchild came to join us and we watched approximately 5 games between a lovely Canadian girl v a Portuguese good player and then...............the heavens opened! The covers were hastily pulled across the court and we beat a hasty retreat - soaked! End of play!
Home again now, had a lovely Chinese meal,bottle of wine and the sun is cracking the flags in North Wales!! But, thanks Echo, for your hospitality. We still had a good day.
