A nuthatch checking out the area on a bit of an angle.

Driving to the Forest of Dean this afternoon with the hope of seeing my kingfisher _ I say 'seeing' loosely here.

She didn't turn up and my patience wore out so went home where Poppy was panting for her tea. I looked at my watch then gave in after a bit. The time change is always a bit difficult.
