The Wedding - Rehearsal Day

We had a lovely day just mooching about in the centre of Munich with daughter#1 and family.

We took the tram again from outside the hotel, but this time we couldn't buy tickets as it was a cash only ticket machine, just coins too. We have never had our tickets checked on public transport in Munich but not wanting to risk a 120 euro fine we got off at the Ostbahnhof and bought day tickets from the machine there.

Knowing that we were going Bavarian again in the evening we went to an Italian restaurant for lunch.

We then went on to the rehearsal at the church. Gosh the service was a lot more complicated than we expected. The order of service was 15 pages long, being a combination of the marriage and a full communion service too. Not much for me to do though. I got one line when asked who presents daughter#2 to be married - Her Mother And I. Then I got to sit down. The bridesmaids and pageboys have to stand up a lot at the front. Mrsfb is doing a reading, An Irish Blessing.

Daughter#1 and family were now at our hotel. After the rehearsal we had another Bavarian meal at the restaurant down the road from daughter#2's apartment. Twelve of us in total, including all six bridesmaids and the two pageboys.
