Bluebell Wood

I was revisiting this wood having spotted it earlier in the year before the bluebells were actually out. The bluebells now are certainly past their best but still worth blipping, I thought. It is a lovely woodland with patches of sunlight and deep dark shadows around the trees. I should have really got down to ground level to effectively isolate a few clumps of bluebells but I used a very wide aperture and brightened the areas where I was focussing. The lighting was a little flat but this was easily be rectified in Nik Viveza. I suspect it is a well-known bluebell wood in East Lothian but for those of you who live hereabouts it is Oak Wood near Brunt. Well worth a visit.
