Built family

You know biological family and some of you know chosen family but this, this my friends, is built family. “Can you believe I made myself a family for less than $39.50?” - Devon Smith

Brief visit to the American Visionary Art Museum before driving an interesting person from Baltimore to Takoma Park and learning from her. She’s going to share information with her trans photographer friends. I’m nervous but I assume everyone will submit right after the deadline so I told her to make sure they all wait until the last week in December. I did it so deadpan it took her a second to realize I was joking.

Russia is using an 80-year-old howitzer that once lobbed a 90-pound shell just eight miles—half the range of a modern howitzer. Russia has lost a thousand howitzers and rocket-launchers—and the loss rate has quickened as Ukrainian counterbattery methods have improved.

Ukraine's Asgard Group has taken out a T-72 tank, a multiple rocket launcher, and several air defense systems, according to Kyiv. Now, it is their say so, but they include video when they make most of these claims. Drones for attack, drones for video of results.
Oh I just groaned about finding news and moaned for a dog story. A dog was rescued from floods in Ukraine and then survived a Russian bombing. Footage saw the puppy, named Henry, in a building, after the Kakhovka dam in Kherson was destroy. A British charity found him a new home. In the flood waters he was so covered in gunk they thought he was black but after washing him found he is mostly white. The sludge caused chemical burns so he went to an animal clinic. Russians bombed the clinic. He escaped and went to another clinic. NOW he is in a new home in Poland, living with Anya.
good night, may it be a good week
