Picnic at Crow Park
This was taken during a beautiful sunny weekend a few weeks ago. Keswick was mobbed with tourists, most of them doing something exciting on the local lake Derwentwater. The hill in the background with the knob on top is called Catbells and is one of the most climbed hills in England. The couple in the shot appear to be visiting from the far East and are enjoying of all things, fish & chips. When I saw them sitting there, the famous Cartier Bresson photo of the family picnic by the river came to mind.
