Knifer

I was thinking quit a lot about Knifer'swife statement which Vani?ta used for his word painting we saw yesterday at the exhibition.
She had said ( in 2005) : " If we have remained here [ Zagreb ] we would have died of hunger" . At the time she said that he become very much in vogue with collectors and his prices very getting higher and higher but he died year before. Her words have resonated not only that we have bought Knifer around that time but because I have been asking my self from time to time what would have happened if we have stayed and not left 21 years ago.
I have taken ( this morning ) photo of Knifer's painting and stitched to the photo which I have taken yesterday at the exhibition. I have done that in style of late work of Vani?ta which are combination of two or more, photographs, reproductions, written texts, so purely conceptual and different from his earlier work. As Knifer painting and stitching were done today I believe that this blip qualifies as today's
