Memories

We have spent the weekend in Bristol, being with my sister to celebrate the life of her husband who died recently. Very many friends and relatives joined together for a happy celebration of his life. My sister had gathered together a display of photographs of Roy, together with newspaper cuttings, ties and blazers from when he kept wicket for England and three different county sides. People talked about his exciting life in cricket and we heard a lot of new stories. It was a happy occasion, and I am sure Roy would have enjoyed it.
