Peninsula Barracks

This morning we had a few things to do in town. We caught the bus in but walked home via the old Peninsula Barracks area(now luxury apartments) narrowly avoiding heavy rains showers.  I know I have blipped the Barracks before but I do like the openess, symmetry, and peacefulness of this area.
This evening, we attended the annual quiz at our local church.  As always, it was a friendly and fun affair. There were  baked potatoes with various fillings served halfway through.  Our team came a respectable third out of twelve teams.
A good way to spend a wet evening, if you were not interested in Rugby football.
