Goods train!

Our local heritage railway was running a showcase weekend. One steam hauled train of mixed goods wagons took me right back to the days when every station had its goods yards. Now it’s all ‘just in time’ articulated lorries doing this work!

We had a dinner dance in town last night as part of the 60th Anniversary of the charity I volunteer with. It was a splendid evening all round. A rare opportunity to get out our glad rags too!
