Here We Are . . . Emmylou Harris & Rodney Crowell

After watching the World Cup Rugby final which did not go our national teams way and enjoying consoling coffee and scones at Andrew and Beverley's  we loaded the car and headed south.  It was an effortless drive in sunny conditions.  There was the usual stop on the Lewis Pass for thermos coffee and a blip.  The air was very clear and the ridge tops looked walkable (not by me off course.)  We are staying in Christchurch for a few days and will pick up the lovely daughter from the Airport tomorrow morning.  She will work out of the Christchuch Office but Wednesday is a no work day and we can have some fun.
