Light at the end of the tunnel

Came back up to London yesterday but  before doing so we stopped off at Samphire Hoe.  Samphire Hoe is a nature reserve built from all the earth taken when the Euro tunnel was built between the UK and France. Almost 5 million cubic metres of spoil were used to make the reserve increasing the size of the UK by 111 acres.  It's an interesting area to visit  l was hoping after the weather the night before for some stormy seas but was relatively calm.
