Several people were watching the huge waves from the safety of the Battery beside the harbours at Dunbar. Some of the waves were crashing over the tall harbour walls and they must have been even more frequent later when it was high tide. Beside East Beach some waves were going across the road but probably not sufficient to cause damage. Tomorrow the waves are forecast to be even higher and hopefully no life boats will be needed anywhere. The blip shows the waves looking west at the main Victoria Harbour wall and the other is looking south towards the wall around the old Cromwell Harbour.
