Locks

Up Foxton locks this morning. All was going well until the youngest tried to unwind the lock gate himself and let go of the windlass (metal turning handle), it spun round and hit him square on the head, the husband then had to rescue child and metal handle by stopping it with his arm. When asked how much out of yen it hurt, the youngest replied it was 1 million. I got him back onto the boat and did the rest of the locks cuddling him, which is pretty good multi-tasking!

Uneventful rest of day! Eldest had a lovely time fishing at the end of the day, super pleased for him we got that in!
