..... and breathe

Last nights concert was worth the effort - three really good musicians who are not only in good form but clearly enjoy playing.  There was a good mix of styles and instruments (including a cow horn !) and it was interesting to hear connections between e.g. Shetland music and Swedish,  Traditional Scottish Tunes and Appalachians ones as well as other influences eg. that of music from Africa, Caribbean.

No delays on our journey home but looks like there have been further longer ones today.  It will be interesting to see if Scottish Gas Network take any action -  I really feel for people who have to travel for medical appointments, work etc as well as visitors to Enchanted Forest, especially given the roads works aren't scheduled to finish until end of Feb 24 !

This morning I joined 42 other participants for the Faskally Forest Park Run.  The rain had been heavy and so it was muddy underfoot and we had a kelp forest to content with (seriously :-))  and I took it easy - chatting to other walkers, the marshals and enjoying the surroundings.

I did my first Parkrun this time last year and this was number #24 as a participant and #11 as a volunteer.

A quiet evening in beckons.
