machine short?

i'm not one for hair products normally, its usually a case of lets see how the shower decides it should be today, or failing that, the bed.
However recently i have gone and got myself a trendy mans haircut that are all the rave with the young folk these days, and so naturally i had to buy some gel.
I feel my hair is now possibly a biological warfare zone, and i advise people to stay away, though surely with all these chemicals and minerals my hair is now worth significantly more??
