Bare Legs

Not being or ever have been a motorcyclist myself I suppose I am not in a good position to comment. Is bare legs a bit careless accident wise on a bike. I saw a program recently where a motorcyclist was rushing out somewhere so did not put on leather leggings he had bought. He sustained very serious leg injuries that might have been minimised if has them on. His injuries were not helped by the earful he got from his wife for not wearing them. Anyway the ultimatum he got from her was it was the bike or her. I didn’t see the end of the program so I don’t know what decision he made
