Hore Chestnut Trees, White Lady Wood

It looked bright initially, but clouds arrived form the south east. The rain started around half past 10. Shame. I was musing on how last autumn looked so crisp and clear. Reading through last year's diary, that proved to be a rose tinted view of last year.

Tipping it down at lunchtime, but managed a walk under an umbrella. Photo shows the horse chestnut trees, part of White Lady Wood. It is conveniently located near a school. Conkers at the ready.

Rain stops in the afternoon, so a slightly longer walk to a café for end of week coffee and cake.
