Sunrise

I don't often see the sunrise but I did this morning as I looked out of the kitchen window ..... and in the space of minutes it was gone.

My yearly visit to the optician this afternoon. I deferred having new glasses last year but this year I just had to bite the bullet and get get not one pair but two. My wearing all the time varifocals have a slightly adjusted prescription at a hefty three figure price and it's the lenses not the frames that are expensive.
My real problem is being able to read the music and see the conductor when I'm at the choir. I end up with my glasses on the end of my nose and reading the music over the top. I'm very short-sighted and singing is really the only time when it's a problem. Raj suggested trying bifocals .... only double figures for that pair so we'll see how they work out.
