An early arrival

I ordered this fridge freezer on line on Monday, a very easy process, and at 6am this morning I got a text to say that it would be arriving between 7 - 9 am. I knew it would be today, as I chose the date. 

B got up and moved the cars off the drive to give the chaps room. We had done the space making last weekend, rearranged the garage so that there was easy access to the space. At ten to seven we saw the van headlights round the corner so I popped out to say which house we were in as they are strangely numbered and impossible to see in the dark. 

They weren’t allowed to ring the bell until 7am, company instructions, but had the delivery done, unpacked and everything cleared away by ten past. We were very impressed and they were also impressed by our preparation and the ease of the job. 

By this stage I was beginning to flag, so had a coffee and went back to bed. Got up at a more reasonable time.

Later in the morning we went to the supermarket and stocked up on food. The fridge and freezer in the house doesn’t have the capacity that we are used to working with, so this will be a much better arrangement. 

This is Friday I know, but it doesn’t  seem anything like it.
