West Stow

Today we visited West Stow.  There is an Anglo-Saxon village and museum there.  B enjoyed dressing up in Anglo-Saxon clothes and trying on a replica battle helmet.  We all loved looking around the replica houses which were brilliant and very authentic.  I particularly liked this cauldron hanging in this house.  I have just finished listening to David Mitchell's audio book Unruly and so I enjoyed looking at the Anglo-Saxon stuff I has listed about on the audio book.
