Autumn at the church...

It's been a day of attacking the to do list again!  First off was a stop at Hadleigh to drop off another bag of books to the charity shop.  The church nearby was looking lovely with the autumnal colour!

then we dropped off various stamps, jigsaws and tombola prizes to a friend who raises money for bone cancer research so had a nice catch up with her.  

And it's been a sunny afternoon so that lured me in the garden to start some bulb planting and also, stupidly, dug up a large clump of red hot poker that needed splitting.... it didn't like co-operating!! Thankfully got the 3 new clumps replanted after a battle,  before a short sharp shower, and now the sun is back out again!  Still mild too!
