Northern Cardinals

This is Toby and Toby Jr.
Or maybe Toby and Tobetta?
Its almost impossible to tell the gender of a juvenile.
All I know is they frequent my yard daily,
dad is teaching the young one to forage.
Each day dad interact less and less,
forcing his offspring to be more self-sufficient.
Cursiously, I've only seen mom once during this process,
this make me think at this is dads job. Mom's work is done!
